If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. After hosting a successful 2009 managed services partner summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, the N-able conference will return to the same location in 2010. I think the agenda is still pending, but the N-able Partner Summit is confirmed for October 20-22, according to the company’s blog. We’ll be back with more details once the agenda comes into focus.

CompTIA Plans Managed IT Services Summit
CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, plans to host a Managed IT Services Summit in Palos Verdes, Calif., from Oct. 6 to 8, MSPmentor has learned. It’s the second major MSP-focused conference announced this week.
MSPAlliance Announces MSPWorld
The MSPAlliance is applying some polish to its managed services summit brand. Earlier this week MSPAlliance President Charles Weaver informed me the association was planning summits in multiple cities. Now comes word that Weaver (pictured) has re-branded the events as MSPWorld. And I have to admit: I like the move.

MSPAlliance, Microsoft Working Together To Promote Managed Services Accreditation
The MSPAlliance and Microsoft are working together on a reciprocal relationship, reports Redmond Channel Partner. As part of the relationship, Microsoft will promote the MSPAlliance’s Accreditation exam to channel partners worldwide. Likewise, companies that hold a Microsoft IT certification will receive credit for that expertise if/when they take the MSPAlliance’s Accreditation exam, according to the report.
