O2 Business, which provides mobile and broadband service in the UK, is using Fiberlink Communications SaaS-based mobile device management platform for a “Joined Up People” initiative.
Joined Up People is an enterprise service that includes consulting services, communications products, security capabilities and technical expertise help employees work remotely — often in a mobile manner.
Working closely with Fiberlink, O2 will now provide Joined Up People customers with enhanced mobile device management and mobile device security. The MDM services include device discovery, email access control, remote lock and remote wipe data on mobile devices.
Fiberlink’s MDM platform is called MaaS360. The announcement comes roughly one month after Fiberlink expanded its MaaS360 platform to include document sharing.
