LabTech Business Transformation Division: Helping MSPs Drive Revenues?

LabTech Software claims to be doubling down on the IT service provider industry. Specifically, the managed services software provider has created the LabTech Business Transformation Division. LabTech has hired Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Administrator Kevin Gibson to lead it.

LabTech says the Business Transformation Division will help MSPs to automate their businesses, lift sales and drive profits. Admittedly, many of the major RMM (remote monitoring and management) and PSA (professional services automation) software providers make similar claims.

So what will make LabTech’s efforts unique? Perhaps the answer involves Gibson. He spend 16 years developing and managing enterprise information systems. He also spent six years as chief technology officer (CTO) at the Atlanta Technology Force for the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Gibson’s work with the Business Transformation Division will probably play a significant role in LabTech’s pursuit of European MSPs.

    Is this a real press release? Half of the sentences don’t make sense, the others are filled with typos. If this press release is any indication of LabTech’s attention to detail, I’m not so sure I want to hear their ideas on how to manage my business.
