StillSecure, the managed network security solutions provider, has released a multi-tenant managed security services. The new solution is an effort to meet the many different needs of StillSecure’s service provider partners, according to StillSecure Chief Technology Officer James D. Brown.
This expansion of the company’s physical and virtual deployment modes allows managed service providers to maintain services like firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, VPN for multiple clients through a single platform, and all services come with infrastructure monitoring. MSPs can also individually customize each tenant’s managed security service and physically store each tenant’s data separately so that their confidentiality and security is not comprised within the platform.
“This is a cost-effective approach for smaller deployments, and it doesn’t require anyone to pay for physical appliances,” Brown said. “It’s made for cloud users, or smaller environments, or smaller collocated physical devices. It’s a nice counterpoint to a private cloud offering.” StillSecure’s main goal was to provide added flexibility for MSPs. To that end, the multi-tenancy allows StillSecure to change the services it offers based on the type of feedback it gets from partners.
StillSecure has made multiple moves lately. The company recently enhanced the patching and authentication features of StillSecure Safe Access. Next up, watch for cloud and mobile device management solutions at the Hosting and Cloud Transformation Summit ( Sept. 25-27, Las Vegas).
