StillSecure Safe Access — a Network Access Control (NAC) solution from StillSecure — got a recent makeover. The major changes include Common Access Card (CAC) authentication support for U.S. Department of Defense Smart Cards and faster Microsoft patching capabilities.
StillSecure designed Safe Access to prevent unauthorized access, cut malicious endpoint activity, enforce company policies and help companies achieve PCI, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. Now Safe Access will perform automatic updates to quickly run through patching on Microsoft operating systems through Micrsoft SMS, SCCM, HP Radia, LANDesk and IBM Tivoli.
We’ll keep an eye on whether StillSecure is as busy throughout August as it was during July when it added the PCI Compliance Cost Calculator to the PCI Compliance package and Managed Multi-Factor Authentification (MFA) service.
