Comtrend Corp., which develops networking equipment, has launched an Early Adopter Program (EAP) for its service provider partners. Participating service providers can test Comtrend’s hardware and software — and offer feedback — before the products are released in North America.
Participating service providers have to meet the following requirements:
- Must be a current Comtrend customer — service provider, that is — based in the U.S., Canada, or U.S. territories.
- Must be committed to giving timely and detailed responses either online or over the phone.
- Must have technology that is currently being deployed in the field by paying customers.
- Must have the specified testing technology in a test-only location.
Comtrend says participating service providers will play a major role in the final version of its IPTV, VoIP, security and home networking technologies. The company is looking for candid feedback and new ideas for their products. Comtrend service provider partners interested in participating should contact their account manager.
