Bocada, a data protection management and backup reporting software specialist, continues to tweak its Bocada Prism platform for managed services providers. This time, the company has integrated the ability to send alerts to trouble ticketing systems.
Bocada Prism gives managed service providers a unique way to view their data protection, according to Bocada. The company began marketing Bocada Prism to MSPs in mid-May 2011 to help MSPs use Bocada’s Data Protection Service Management (DPSM) model within their environments. Today, Bocada solutions are deployed by hundreds of enterprises to serve over 600,000 end-users, the company claims.
The newest addition to Bocada Prism allows MSPs to send alerts from the Prism platform to trouble ticketing systems from BMC Software, ServiceNow and ConnectWise. Bocada also launched an abbreviate version of the Bocada Prism in December 2010 — the Bocada Prism Lite — to target SMB clients.
