Tigerpaw Software, which develops PSA (professional services automation) software, is sticking to its niche. Outside of the managed services market, Tigerpaw has enjoyed good momentum in the telecom market. Building on that theme, Tigerpaw is partnering with Reilly Telecom to better serve Avaya channel partners. Here’s how.
Reilly Telecom develops AlarmTraq, a remote management and monitoring system designed for Avaya partners serving SMB and large enterprise customers. By integrating Tigerpaw and AlarmTraq, partners will gain a simplified way “for monitoring alerts in Avaya and seamlessly opening and managing tickets in Tigerpaw. Email alerts generated through AlarmTraq are monitored, interpreted, and routed to appropriate technicians – and ultimately converted into service orders in Tigerpaw,” according to a press release.
It’s safe to expect Tigerpaw to describe its ongoing telecom strategy during the Tigerpaw User Conference (Oct. 6-8, Dallas), at which time the company is expected to unveil the new Tigerpaw 11 release plus a new Tigerpaw Communities effort.
No doubt, PSA software providers are paying more attention to the networking and telecom industries. For instance, both Autotask and ConnectWise spend considerable time speaking with Cisco-centric channel partners.
