Datacastle has inked a partnership with Bayleaf, a Vancouver-based managed services provider. Under terms of the relationship, Bayleaf will host the Datacastle Endpoint Protection Suite and give Canadian organizations a way to backup, store and recover data in the cloud. Here’s the scoop.
Datacastle already has their RED backup and recovery product in the cloud, and the new Endpoint Protection Suite looks to be a refinement of that concept, according to the press release.
The Datacastle Endpoint Protection Suite, as delivered by Bayleaf, is a single agent, policy-driven solution that gives AES encryption, port access control, remote data deletion, and device trace functionality to Canadian MSPs and their customers.
The Bayleaf partnership is interesting because it gives Datacastle a hook into the Canadian managed services market — where many MSP software providers got their start.
