The Launch Pad, a Florida-based MSP catering to SMBs, has unveiled fixed-fee managed services targeted at nonprofit organizations. The RevITUP Business Care Nonprofit Managed IT Services Series, as The Launch Pad calls it, combines remote monitoring and management, help desk and ticketing functions, backup and disaster recovery, and Internet security. Here’s a look at the effort.
Nonprofits and managed services are a match made in heaven, to hear The Launch Pad tell it in their official press release. By hosting their data and security solutions themselves, The Launch Pad can reduce the load IT expenditures can place on an already-thin budget, and the rest of the services can eliminate the need for dedicated IT staff altogether.
But the same can be said of any managed services offering. What really sets RevITUP apart for nonprofits is their fixed-fee approach, which sounds like The Launch Pad can adjust it based on the organization’s budget.
So nonprofits get services they’d never otherwise be able to afford, and The Launch Pad gets to break into what is, to my mind, an underserved market and maybe do a good deed at the same time. This could be another one of those rare win-wins in the channel.
