Kaseya is launching a white label SaaS (software as a service) offering for ASCII Group members. Plus, the company is polishing the Kaseya 6 framework for both SaaS and on-premise deployments. Here’s where Kaseya is heading next, according to CEO Gerald Blackie (pictured).
I spoke with Blackie a few hours ago at the CompTIA Breakaway 2009 conference in Las Vegas. Blackie covers the Kaseya-ASCII Group, SaaS and Kaseya 6 strategies in this MSPmentor FastChat Video:
Additional Highlights
Blackie shared a range of business and technology milestones during our conversation. Key highlights included:
- Kaseya in India is working with Tata Group to pursue millions of small business managed services opportunities over the next decade.
- Economy: At the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, Kaseya saw a small number of its customers “go out of business or scale down plans,” said Blackie. However, Kaseya grew about 70 percent in 2008 vs. 2007, and the company is on pace to generate similar growth this year.
- Kaseya 6, the company’s next-generation IT services platform, will go live around October 1. It’s in beta test right now. Plus, a cloud version of the software is live today and being tested.
Blackie is on an Aug. 5 panel I’m moderating in a few hours. I’ll report with more perspectives after the panel.
