WPC is a unique global event and the awards do a great job of recognizing innovation and leadership across the industry.

Looks like 2 or 3 winners in the Small Business Specialist (I will call all finalist winners) use Kaseya…Bulletproof InfoTech, the sole North American firm as a finalist (insert pat on the back for our grew in Calgary and Red Deer) is also a ConnectWise and Kaseya partner.

I’m not surprised to hear that attendance by MSPs was light at the MWPC. Microsoft’s tools for MSPs seem to lead more towards minimizing MSPs contact and control of their client base, than enhancing it. I’m not a MSFT-basher – they often launch things a little wrong-headed and make course corrections afterwards.

Hey Joe,

Apparently there was plenty of conversation about managed services in the SMB section of the market.

Evolve IT – an MSP based out of Melbourne, Australia won the coveted Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year award. The team at Evolve started their journey to New Orleans by winning the Australian partner of the year award and went on to take out the GLOBAL title at the partner conference. An amazing effort for some lads from down under.

From all the folks at Kaseya we would like to congratulate Nick and his team over at Evolve IT !

Interesting update: One MSP software provider made the following comment to me… “There are 7000 attendees and 700 MSPs here. The challenge is finding the MSPs within the attendee base.”
