I just stumbled across this site and just listened to the podcast on the transitioning VAR to MSP. I think VAR’s really need to understand that their traditional hardware reselling model is history – they must move towards newer means of revenue / annuity models.
Once again – great resource.

DCC: Great to have you as a reader but I want to be careful not to hype the annuity model as a silver bullet for all VARs. Some of Cisco’s fastest-growing, most profitable partners are still very much project focused rather than annuity focused.
