On the enterprise managed services front, Verizon Business says it now holds 13 managed services designations from Cisco Systems Inc. We told you a bit about Verizon’s MSP momentum in November 2008. If you think you’re a successful MSP, look at some of these quick stats.

According to a Verizon Business press release:

“Verizon Business manages 270,000-plus security, network and hosting devices across more than 4,000 customer networks spanning 142 countries and territories, overseeing non-Verizon connections from more than 60 network providers worldwide.”

Verizon Business didn’t participate in our MSPmentor 100 survey. But those 270,000 managed devices would have ranked atop our research.
