Many of the issues discussed in Ben’s blog are precisely why we’ve seen a significant growth of interest by SaaS ISVs in working with distribution channels to help drive revenue growth, without having to make a significant investment in building a direct sales model. And particularly for the SMB market, SaaS channels are a perfect fit.
This poses an excellent opportunity for VARs/MSPs to extend their “trusted IT advisor” relationship with their customers by adding SaaS offerings to their portfolio.
