They all use a single instance of the application, eliminating the need for downloads, installs, patches, back-ups, or dedicated hardware… and access it on-demand from any device connected to the internet. We can make it available to run on premises for larger installations that have unique or special requirements, but discourage this because of the complications that arise from potential conflicts with other software, difficulties in trouble-shooting for support, and our ability to update the software in a timely and seamless fashion.

My undestanding (asking for Autotask verification volunteers!) is that it can run both in the cloud and on premise.

I am investigating PSA tools. Does Autotask only run in a cloud? Or is it on premise too?
