<description>Excellent post, Jim. As you know, after much trial and error, we finally settled on and perfected a flat-fee, all-you-can eat pricing model for our clients which included all onsite, remote and lab/bench service between the hours of 8am to 5pm M-F for a flat fee.

Included services were remote help desk, 24x7 monitoring and we pioneered vendor management. We determined pricing for services through our infamous &quot;Cost-Savings Analysis&quot; approach - a consultative ROI calculation that reflected how much the client was spending by having their internal staff manage vendors and perform lightweight IT services before contacting their existing reactive service provider; along with the cost of downtime and how much we could save them with our flat-fee services.

This approach provided us maximum flexibility on pricing and the ability to maximize our net profits while increasing our clients&#039; efficiencies and productivity by eliminating their business pain and mitigating risk.
