I completely agree, that Carr's vision is on target. The question is always one of timing PLUS what hidden hurdles will we all face before moving to the cloud? I read his book on the plane flight home and highlighted several passages that caught my eye. I think we're some years away from the point where companies get all their computing from "The Grid", but I think he's exactly right as to where things are headed. And I don't want to look like a guy who didn't see it coming... I caught Nicholas Carr’s address at the ConnectWise Summit and I thought it was fascinating.
