Managed service provider partner summits are becoming quite the rage. In addition to industry summits hosted by CompTIA, MSPAlliance and MSPSN, the list of vendor-hosted events (ConnectWise Partner Summit, N-able Partner Summit) continues to grow. Do some quick math, and more than 1,000 managed service providers will be attending partner and vendor events this fall.
N-able, for one, just announced the agenda for its annual Partner Summit (Oct. 22-24, Dallas). According to a blog entry from N-able VP Bryan O’Connor, the company expects more than 500 partners and vendors to attend. Yes, I’ll be among those in the audience — blogging live from the event. Plus, I’ll moderate a session on emerging trends. Here’s a look at the complete agenda.
Meanwhile, more than 700 ConnectWise partners are expected to attend that company’s summit September 17-19 in Orlando. Registration for the ConnectWise Partner Summit appears to be sold out.
If you’d like to potentially meet at an upcoming managed services event, send me a note (joe [at] ninelivesmediainc.com). My calendar for the next few weeks includes:
- September 4-7, Chicago: MSP Revolution.
- September 15-19, New York: Interop. Not exactly a managed services event, but plenty of IT news to cover, including some surprising moves by Lenovo.
- September 17-19, Orlando: ConnectWise Partner Summit 2008.
- October 22-24, Dallas: N-able Partner Summit.
More dates to come.
