Will the Managed Services Bubble Pop?

I hear it every day: Managed service providers (MSPs) and Software as a Service (SaaS) companies are immune to the economic slowdown. Wow! Bubble? The numbers I’ve recently heard indicate that we’ve barely tapped 5% of the managed services market, and that much education still needs to take place to make customers even aware that such a thing exists… hardly a bubble…

Generally speaking, I agree. But I always try to help readers keep market hype in perspective. The MSP hype wave won’t lift all boats. Many MSPs will fail (mostly because of business issues rather than tech issues).
