Windows Server Managed Services: An Interesting Spin from iYogi

Microsoft recently launched Windows Server 2008, yet iYogi — a managed service provider — just announced remote support services for Windows Server 2003. Are they too late to the market? Perhaps not. Instead of embracing “what’s new,” iYogi is wisely targeting a massive installed base with an aggressive price point. Here’s the scoop.

According to a press release, iYogi plans to charge $999.99 for annual Windows Server 2003 tech support. The company, based in New York, claims to have 30,000 customers worldwide. The company says it supports 70 different applications and peripherals, and its managed services agreements start at $84.99 per computer per year.

In another interesting twist, iYogi‘s Windows Server 2003 managed services offer is available to customers across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
